Colombia has tree aspects in which its situation relates to that of the book these are:

Economic : As in the book in Colombia there is a great deal of unemployment. Colombians have long working days, risk their lives daily, for minimum wages and poor benefits.

Political : as in the book colombia is an oppressed people who lives under the regime of a corrupt government , that by his power and status pass over the poor

Social : As in book in Colombia the low classes starve, live like animals, while the upper classes live in huge houses surrounded by luxuries, discriminating to the lower classes.

In my opinion this book is dramatic, not understandable and I find it boring.
